Ben Duncan of Deadhead Studios
Our ethos at Deadhead Studio is to create beautiful gardens and landscapes with a strong focus high quality design whilst reusing, repurposing and recycling materials already available to you in your current outdoor space.
Our design will be based on your needs and desires, suggesting suitable hard landscaping materials allowing you the freedom to source them locally to you.
Where possible we will reuse existing materials within the design, or opt for recycled or reclaimed materials whilst always ensuring that the overall carbon footprint of the garden is kept as low as possible.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility to create designs that range from contemporary to traditional or a seamless blending of the two, all sympathetic to your surroundings.
We are able to produce accurate renders of what potential lighting solutions will look like in your garden to take the guess work out of this critical step in the design.
Most importantly, the plans we produce are easy to understand and translate into the finished garden.

Thomas Tunnard of Newt Forge
Hi, my name is Thomas Tunnard and I am a 21 year old blacksmith in Bedfordshire UK.
I have been doing blacksmithing since the age of around 16 when I made my first ever forge out of an old bucket and using a hair dryer as a forge blower. After I tried blacksmithing for the first time I was hooked and I instantly knew it is what I wanted to do for work. My parents, for a birthday present, bought me a day experience at a forge where you were taught how to forge a simple toasting fork and I had a great time!
Following on from this, I decided that I wanted to do a college course in blacksmithing and metal working at Plumpton college, near Brighton in the lovely south downs. The college course wasn’t just blacksmithing, it also incorporated other subjects such as welding, jewellery, repousse, and business. I had done welding before on the farm fixing tractors etc. but jewellery and repoussé were entirely new to me and they quickly became new passions of mine. After 2 years at college I left with a triple Distinction and a level 3 diploma in Blacksmithing and metal working.

Value
Good Quality Timber is not cheap and it is unwise to pay too much, but it's also unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, sometimes you lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
